What The?
Once again, Michelle Malkin shows us how rediculous she can get.
Does Dunkin' Donuts really think its customers could mistake Rachael Ray for a terrorist sympathizer? The Canton-based company has abruptly canceled an ad in which the domestic diva wears a scarf that looks like a keffiyeh, a traditional headdress worn by Arab men. Some observers, including ultra-conservative Fox News commentator Michelle Malkin, were so incensed by the ad that there was even talk of a Dunkin' Donuts boycott. "The keffiyeh, for the clueless, is the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad," Malkin yowls in her syndicated column. "Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant and not-so-ignorant fashion designers, celebrities, and left-wing icons.".... (Follow the link for more.)
This is rediculous. Its a scarf, this is America, are we censoring the use of scarves because they look like something a terrorist would wear?
Does Fox News and its rediculous staff actually swallow this kind of nonsense?

Some people need to remove the sticks from their ass. Life isn't that serious and anything with Rachel Ray shouldn't be taken serious anyway.
Agreed!
first things first... if i was single.. I'd smash rachel ray.. then make her make me a sammich...
second...I take nothing Michelle Malkin says seriously. Anyone like her who automatically takes the party-line on every issue isn't really worth listening too anyway.
We have to get over ourselves. To me, saying that a scarf in a dunkin donut commercial brings to mind images of Palestinian Jihad is easily a stretch. People who see that are actively looking for things to complain about, or looking for imagery to help them rail against Islam, or Palestinians, or Iranians, so forth and so on. Not that they aren't deserving of it sometimes.
But America has to stop being so damn touchy about everything, especially when we have a role to play in a lot of these conflicts.
I Just think thiz Country iz touchy about the WRONG Thingz.....We Put so much energy on the Tiny thingz of thiz world, Stick our Nose where it doesn't belong in other partz of the world, and when it comez to our Own backyard, we don't give a fuck.....
...and Aaaamen.
