KLEP Gave Me This Idea.

It's always been fun to trace samples. Here's a taste of some songs that have documented sampling of The Isley Brothers Classic: "Footsteps In The Dark" after Ice Cube's "Today Was A Good Day"...

Slum Village "Call Me" Feat. Dwele

MOST SLEPT ON RAP GROUP OF ALL TIME. WHERE ARE THEY?! If you don't have this album please refrain from calling yourself a "Hip Hop Head."

J Dilla "Wont Do" Off "The Shining"

Nough' Said.

K-Os "Heaven Only Knows remix"

Now that's enough to start your download engines today. I think all these sample were used quite well. :D

I don't have that album :/

BUT...

I Do have J. Period, The Best of the Isley Brothers with a whole bunch of original samples and the songs that sampled them after. Classic stuff. You need that in your life.
